A suspect was arrested on Monday for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a minor girl in the Korangi area.
The incident took place in the Awami Colony area of Korangi where a crowd reportedly saved a seven-year-old girl from the suspect. The suspect was severely beaten up by the crowd before police took him into custody. According to witnesses, the suspect lured and took the girl to an empty plot from where people rescued her. A case has been registered and investigations are under way.
