KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan has said his party has been saying for 18 months that it is ready for talks as dialogue is always part of politics, Geo News reported on Friday.
However, Khan made it clear that his party would hold talks with all opponents, except three political parties. Speaking to journalists in the Adiala jail, where a hearing of the 190-million-pound scandal was held, he said PTI leaders Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz had been authorised to hold talks. He emphasised that these three names had been proposed for holding dialogue, not for striking a deal. Khan said talks are held with opponents, not friends, and those who want to go abroad or avoid going to jail reach a deal.
