SUKKUR: A boy was killed by the kidnappers after his father failed to pay the ransom of Rs10 million.

Rashid Teghani, the deceased boy, was kidnapped by the dacoits a few days ago from the Khanpur area of district Shikarpur.

The kidnappers had demanded Rs10 million ransom from the parents of the kidnapped boy.

The parents informed the police about the kidnapping of their son and subsequent demands of ransom money by the kidnappers, however the police failed to take any action to recover the boy.

On Sunday, the kidnappers dispatched the body of the boy to the parents. The parents, along with relatives of the deceased, protested against the incident, saying the police did not take appropriate measures to recover their son.
