Councillor injured in Quaidabad shooting dies at JPMC

A local councillor who was wounded during a firing incident in the Quaidabad area succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Wednesday.
Councillor Shahzad Tanoli was among three injured and one of his brothers, namely Sanam Tanoli, was killed due to firing on Tuesday. Shahzad was under treatment at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. One suspect involved in the shooting incident was also arrested by police.
The deceased councillor was affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party. The funeral prayers of the deceased were offered after the Asr prayers. Further investigations are underway.
