Three uplift schemes approved
LAHORE:The 50th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) 2023-24 was held under the Chairmanship of Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan on Wednesday.
Three development schemes of FW&W, Emergency Services and UD sector with an estimated cost of Rs4.697 billion were approved during the meeting. The approved schemes include CM Plants for Pakistan Green Punjab Initiative for Rawalpindi Division at the cost of Rs1.000 billion, Provision of Ambulance Service for Motorways in Punjab at the cost of Rs700 million and Construction of Underpass along Bedian Road at Roundabout near Lahore Ring Road at the cost of Rs2.997 billion.
Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Nasir Iqbal Malik, Members P&D Board, heads of relevant departments and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting.
