ISLAMABAD: A local court on Tuesday confirmed the bail of PTI’s leader Azam Khan Swati in a case pertaining to violation of section-144.
The judge, District and Sessions Court, Islamabad, heard the case and approved the bail against the surety bonds worth Rs5,000.
During the hearing, Swati’s counsel Ali Bokhari Advocate said that his client was granted the bail the next day of his arrest. However, it was cancelled for skipping a hearing and Swati was declared absconder. After hearing arguments, the court confirmed the bail.
