ISLAMABAD: The Shehbaz Sharif-led government has decided to remove names of cabinet members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Official sources said the federal cabinet approved a summary for removal of names of PTI government federal cabinet members from the ECL. However, names of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Zulfi Bukhari and Farah Gogi would remain on the ECL.
Those who would benefit from the government decision include Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, PTI government ministers Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Murad Saeed, Shafqat Mahmood, Ejaz Shah, Omar Ayub, Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, Farogh Naseem, Asad Umar, Pervaiz Khattak, Khusro Bakhtiar, Ali Zaidi and Mahboob Slutan. Sources said the cabinet decided to remove names of the PTI leaders on recommendation of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
