LANDIKOTAL: Frontier Corps (North) and Customs authorities at Torkham border jointly foiled a bid to smuggle arms from Afghanistan, an official said on Sunday.

The official said during routine checking, they stopped two trucks (KBL-2482) and (KBL-9154) loaded with coal and recovered three M16 Rifles, two pistols, 4000 AK-47 rounds, AK-47 bolts, 40 springs, five pistol magazines and 9MM 8000 rounds.
