Afghan national shot dead

JAMRUD: An Afghan national was killed by unidentified persons in Shahkas area here on Wednesday.It was learnt that unidentified motorcyclists shot dead an Afghan named Patang in Shahkas area in Jamrud after snatching Rs9 lakh from him.

Quoting the cousin of the slain person, the police said Patang had sold out his truck and was going home carrying Rs9 lakh in cash when the armed motorcyclists opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.The accused took away the money and escaped from the spot.The police registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
