Minister promises equal education opportunities

LAHORE: Punjab School Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat spent all three days of Eid in meetings with public delegations and visits to various projects.

He reviewed the cleanliness arrangements under the government campaign in Phool Nagar and its surroundings and appealed to the general public to support the government in ensuring cleanliness. He also visited various ongoing development projects in Kasur, Pattoki, Sarai Mughal and Phool Nagar, especially he reviewed the implementation of the revamping plan of various projects.

On this occasion, Rana Sikandar Hayat while talking to the people’s delegations, said that the government was aware of the people’s problems and was trying hard to solve them.

The government was taking emergency measures for the education of all out-of-school children. Soon, every child will get equal educational opportunities under the educational emergency in the province, he added.

The minister further said that what happened to this country during the last five years had taken the country 50 years back. ‘We have started a new era, very soon people will get good news and relief will reach them,’ he claimed.

On this occasion, in a meeting with the local farmers, the minister assured that the bar-dana would be available in time and in the required quantity, while the wheat would be sold at the official rate. He said that the government was making every possible effort to eliminate the role of middleman.
