Camps set up for vehicles’ registration
LAHORE: The Mobile Registration Unit of the Excise and Taxation Department Punjab Monday announced establishing camps in various locations in the City on alternate days of the week for registration of vehicles and transfer of ownership.
The initiative is intended to provide civic services to citizens near their areas. On the directive of Secretary Excise Masood Mukhtar, the Mobile Registration Unit established a camp at Talwar Chowk, Bahria Town where several citizens registered and transferred their vehicles online at the spot.
Meanwhile, Director Excise Region C Lahore, Muhammad Asif said that Tuesday (today), the same camp will be established at Liberty Chowk, Gulberg around 2pm and the camp will also be visited by the Secretary Excise. He said the mobile registration camp will continue at various locations of the city to facilitate citizens.
