ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday directed the CDA Chairman Anwarul Haq and other higher authorities to appear before it next week in a contempt of court case.

The CDA chairman faces the case for not complying with the court orders.

Justice Babar Sattar heard the contempt of court plea and summoned Anwarul Haq, Member Estate Board and DG Land next week.

The court remarked that transferring properties to the citizens according to the law was a responsibility of the CDA. The court had issued an order which was not implemented constituting contempt of court. The petition was filed against the CDA chairman and others. The court while issuing the order adjourned the hearing to next week.
