Speaker returns unnecessary staff, vehicles to NA Sectt
According to details, there were eight vehicles deputed on security duty but the Speaker has returned the unnecessary vehicles
ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has rendered all the unnecessary staff members who were serving at the Speaker’s House during tenure of his predecessors, to the National Assembly secretariat.
The sources said that the Speaker was astonished to see at list of 40 employees most of them performing additional duties at the Speaker’s House. The Speaker immediately ordered to send back all the unnecessary employees to their original duties. As a part of austerity measures, the Speaker has downsized his security protocol.
According to details, there were eight vehicles deputed on security duty but the Speaker has returned the unnecessary vehicles.
Ayaz Sadiq has also directed the National Assembly secretariat to adopt austerity measures as part of efforts to meet economic crisis.
