The government has reportedly made a commitment to the IMF to further increase utilities prices. This is a cruel act on the part of those in power. Had the preceding governments served the country in an honest and dedicated manner and not pursued personal interests, Pakistan would have gotten out from under the IMF loans by now.
Creative governance will be required in order to bring prosperity to the country. The new government must take serious and concrete measures to build a self-reliant country and reduce dependence on foreign loans.
