Gold rates drop Rs600 per tola

Gold rates decreased by $5 to $2,170 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates decreased by Rs20 at Rs2,580 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices in the local market dropped by Rs600 per tola on Monday following a decline in the international market.

According to All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association data, gold rates in the local market decreased to Rs226,900 per tola. Similarly, the 10-gram gold price also decreased by Rs515 to Rs194,530.

Gold rates decreased by $5 to $2,170 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates decreased by Rs20 at Rs2,580 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also dropped by Rs17.15 to Rs2,229.08.
