Balancing academic commitments with religious obligations such as fasting and prayers during Ramazan can be quite demanding. The fasting period, from dawn to sunset, affects energy levels and concentration, making it difficult for students to focus in class or perform well on exams. Faculty members also find it challenging to maintain their usual teaching schedules while fasting.
The timing of classes, exams, and academic deadlines often conflict with religious obligations such as Sehri and Taraweeh. To support students and faculty during Ramazan, universities should consider flexible scheduling, accommodation facilities for prayer and rest, awareness campaigns, and other support resources.
