NEW DELHI: Amitabh Bachchan expressed gratitude after the Bollywood legendary actor underwent angioplasty at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital on Friday morning.
As per Indian Express, the doctors from the Kokilaben Hospital have confirmed that the Shahenshah of B-town has undergone angioplasty.
Now, several media portals reported that Bachchan has been discharged and is recovering from his medical procedure at home.
The actor also updated his fans with a heartfelt note on his blog. He wrote, “Ever in gratitude for all your prayers and love. Ever in gratitude for the grace of your affection. Ever in gratitude for your continuity. Love and more later.”
Moreover, he wrote on X, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever.” Soon after the news broke in the media, Bachchan’s fans started sending good wishes to the icon of the Indian film industry. One fan wrote on X, “Get well soon sir!” “I pray that you stay healthy,” another fan chimed in.
