Nigehban Ramazan Package: Ration distribution underway in Multan

MULTAN: The ration distribution is underway under the Nigehban Ramazan Package in Multan division.According to officials, the needy people of Multan, Vehari, Lodhran and Khanewal districts are being provided ration packets at their doorsteps.

In this connection, two workers have received Notices on charges of demonstrating negligence in the delivery of ration packets at doorsteps of relevant people.Talking to reporters, Commissioner Maryam Khan said the purpose of door-to-door ration delivery is to relieve citizens from waiting in long queues. The commissioner said the divisional administration has constituted so far 2,080 teams to distribute ration bags among 231,408 deserving people in the Multan division.

Briefing the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rizwan Qadeer said the ration will not be distributed at any place except registered houses and 808 teams have distributed 337,133 ration bags in Multan district.
