KARACHI: Zone-IV Whites beat Zone-VII Whites by 5 wickets to reach the semifinals of Inter-District Cricket Tournament.

Zone-IV Whites and Zone-VII Whites both won 5 matches and got 10 Points each but on better net run rate Zone-IV Whites moved into the semifinals from Group “C”.

Zone-VII Whites 256 all out in 43.3 overs. Syed Mehmood Shah 85 10x4 1x6, Hamza Ghanchi 68 10x4 2x6, Basit Khan 27, Fawad Khan 21. Ejaz Shah 3/10, Niamat Khan 3/40, Arsalan Farzand 2/47, Hamza Qureshi 2/59.

Zone-IV Whites 251/5 in 43 2 overs. Ejaz Shah 80 6x4 2x6, Muhammad Waqas 73 5x4 3x6, Arsalan Farzand 47, Talah Ahsan 33 not out. Basit Khan 2/24, Qadir Khan 2/68.

In another match, Zone-V Blues beat Zone-VI Reds by 3 wickets.
