MANSEHRA: The newly elected MPA Akram Ghazi said on Sunday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would give Oghi and Darband tehsils the status of another district in the Hazara division.
“People of Oghi and its suburbs reposed confidence in me, PTI and voted me to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, I will address all core issues they faced,” he said while speaking at a presser in Oghi.
Flanked by the local officer bearers of PTI, he said the people of Oghi and Darband tehsils had been demanding the status of a settled district for a long and the PTI would meet the demand.
He said an industrial zone would be established in the Harigah area as the provincial government owned a large piece of land there.
“The Oghi and Darband tehsils have been deprived of minerals royalty and I will raise my voice for that in the assembly,” Ghazi said. He said a Rescue 1122 station would be operational in Oghi soon.
