Jimmy to display artwork abroad
LAHORE
World-renowned Pakistani artist, social crusader and peace activist Jimmy Engineer is going to display his creative artwork in foreign countries by organising more international exhibitions in next couple of months.
In his periodic telephonic conversation with journalist friends, Jimmy Engineer said that he would announce details in due course of time after all arrangements finalised in this regard. He said he would give names of the countries where he was going to display his creative work.
In response to queries, Jimmy Engineer emphatically stated that since he regarded himself as servant of Pakistan, he would obviously be availing every opportunity while exhibiting artwork in foreign countries to continue projecting and promoting soft, moderate, positive and progressive looking image of Pakistan and its peace-loving and forward looking people. He said through his displaying artwork and interacting with people from different walks of life in foreign countries, people were developing better and improved perception about Pakistan and its people.
When asked whether he would display his artwork in solo or group shows, Jimmy said that it would depend on what the art related quarters in foreign countries suggest.
Jimmy Engineer has already virtually created a record by organising seven solo art shows or participating in group international exhibitions in quick succession to each other during last couple of years in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Dubai, Thailand, Canada, and Germany.
