Hand grenade hurled into filling station

PESHAWAR: Unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade into a filling station in the limits of Mathra Police Station on Sunday evening.
Sources said that the owner of the filling station had been receiving calls and messages from extortionists for the last many weeks. On Sunday evening, they said unidentified attackers hurled a hand grenade that went off with a bang. However, no casualty was reported in the explosion
A large number of people are reported to have been receiving calls from extortionists in different parts of the KPK. A few of them were also attacked with grenades recently after the owners ignored the extortion calls.
