CHARSADDA: Scores of Awami National Party (ANP) activists resigned from the party and announced joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday. Abdul Qayyum Khan, Umar Khan, Ghaniur Rehman, Anwar Shah, Sher Alam, Imran Khan Durrani and others along with their families, friends, well-wishers and supporters announced joining the PTI during a public meeting in Sultanabad Dehri here. Provincial ministers Atif Khan, Ziaullah Afridi, PTI leader Fazal Muhammad and others were also present on the occasion. Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Atif Khan said that nationalists and religious parties had disappointed the people and that’s why the people were joining the PTI. He said that the PTI had buried the politics of nepotism and plundering of public money. He welcomed the new entrants to the party.
