CM inaugurates biggest biogas plant
LAHORE : The chief minister inaugurated Pakistan's largest biogas plant in Gowala Colony here Sunday.
The chief minister also planted a sapling in the biogas plant complex. The plant will produce 6,000 cubic meter gas per day from 1,600kg dung.
The chief minister while talking to the media after the inauguration of the plant said that the Gujjar Colony Biogas Plants project was very important.
Lays foundation of first double storey underpass
The chief minister laid the foundation stone of the first of its kind double storey underpass in Garden Town.
The CM named the project as ‘Rustam Zaman-The Great Gamma Crossing’ and stated that it was the best way to pay tribute to the world champion Gamma Pehlawan.
The underpass from the level 1 will go from the Barkat market up to the Canal Road and this underpass will be 700 metres long while the level 2 underpass will be 1.4km long and will go from the Jinnah Hospital up to the Barkat market. One U-turn will be built at Bhekewal Mor and another U-turn will he built at the Canal Road.
