CHARSADDA: A local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Faisal Awan on Thursday declared his formal inclusion in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), terminating a decade-long political association with PTI.
The announcement was made during a press conference at Charsadda Press Club. A large number of workers, including Fawad Ehsanullah, PMLN candidate for PK-64 constituency, were present on the occasion.
Faisal Awan, deputy general secretary of the tehsil, stated that PTI had deviated from its original principles and now engaged in confrontation with state institutions.
He said that workers received genuine respect within the PMLN, making it the party of choice for those committed to the welfare of the people during challenging times.
He announced the end of his 10-year political affiliation with PTI and his formal inclusion in PMLN. He expressed support for PMLN candidate Fawad Ehsanullah in PK-64 and urged his followers to use their vote wisely in the upcoming elections.
He stated that PMLN was a political party capable of leading the nation out of darkness and challenges.
