FAISALABAD: Former PTI leader and a candidate from NA-97 Ahsan Riaz Fatyana on Thursday announced his support for Humayun Akhtar Khan, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party's senior vice president, for the upcoming general elections.

Fatyana, a prominent figure of the area and ex-MPA, made this announcement while addressing a gathering which was also attended by prominent politicians, including Chaudhry Saeed, Malik Sajid and Mehr Sakhawat Ali Fatyana.

Ahsan Riaz Fatyana highlighted the work of Humayun Akhtar Khan in the constituency and termed him a beacon of hope for the people.

Fatyana praised Humayun Akhtar's dedication to address the issues of the local community and said that it was need of the hour to chose such leader who could solve the public grievances.

“We see Humayun Akhtar Khan as a new hope for the people of this constituency. Those who previously held positions here failed to resolve the community’s issues. Its time for a change and the people want leaders who genuinely care”, Fatyana added.
