Murder-suicide victims buried
Funeral prayers were offered on Tuesday for the family who tragically lost their lives in a murder-suicide incident at a residential apartment near the wireless Gate area in Karachi.
The funeral prayers for Ahsan Rizvi and his three children were offered at Imambargah in Rizvia Society, while the funeral prayers for Rizvi’s wife were offered separately. They were later laid to rest amid tears and sobs at a local graveyard.
Police said that they had not found any clue so far that could suggest the involvement of any criminal element in the incident. “This is a simple case in which a man committed suicide after killing his wife and children,” said SHO Irfan Asif.
In a heart-wrenching incident, the man distressed due to unemployment and financial troubles killed his three minor children and wife in their sleep before committing suicide at a residential apartment near the Karachi airport on Monday.
