Polls arrangements under way at polling booths
MULTAN: On the directives of the Election Commission of Pakistan, arrangements are being made at the polling stations for the elections 2024 and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rizwan ordered for immediate delivery of polling lists, officials said.
Presiding over a meeting of ROs, the DC directed them to complete special security arrangements at sensitive polling stations. In the meeting, a detailed review of transparent elections and polling plans was taken.
The DC ordered after completing the election training, the staff should be posted at the relevant polling stations immediately. Installation of cameras and personnel will be deployed at sensitive polling stations, he said. A transport plan was also created for the delivery of election materials and ballot papers.
