Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said that 25,105 companies have been registered on Skilled Labour Market Information System (SLMIS).
Addressing Tevta officers in a meeting on Friday, he said the facility of free registration was available for all pass-outs of technical and vocational institutes of Tevta and employers on this job web portal so that unemployed skilled youths might find suitable job opportunities. Tevta Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and others were present on the occasion. Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said the information system had successfully been launched during February 2016. He said presently CVs of 237,524 trainees were available for recruitment.
