13 PMS officers made part of federal bureaucracy
ISLAMABAD: Some 13 officers of Grade-19 belonging to the Provincial Management Service (PMS) have been merged into the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).
They will now become part of the federal service instead of provincial service. The change has been made on the recommendation of Federal Public Service Commission.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification. The officers have been directed to submit joining report within 15 days.
Among these officers are Muhammad Naeem Khan, Muhammad Shakeel, Sardar Asad Haroon and Basharat Ahmed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Others are Muhammad Riaz Khan and Khalid Khan from former FATA. Amir Hussain Ghazi, Kashif Muhammad Ali Hashmi, Muhammad, Tariq Masood Farooq and Jafar Ali Khan are from Punjab. Isfandyar Baloch and Atiq-ur-Rahman are from Balochistan and Kashif Hussain from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
These officers cleared the written examination of FPSC and later gave an interview after which they were selected.
Meanwhile, Director General Privatisation Commission Malik Aman has been removed from the post. Malik Aman, a Grade-20 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Deputy Secretary Prime Minister’s Office Sajid Mehmood has been transferred and posted as Director General Privatization Commission. His appointment is under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.
