Mohmand teachers plan protest in Islamabad

GHALLANAI: Teachers of the state-run schools on Wednesday announced boycott of the classes to press the government to accept their demands.
Leaders of the Watan Pal Teachers Association and Tanzeem Asatiza, including Marjan Ali, Dast Ali and Haji Mushtaq told reporters that government had assured them of upgrading their scale.
They said that they were told that the demands would be accepted but the government failed to honour the pledges.The teachers’ leaders said that they were forced to stage sit-in in Islamabad in favour of their demands. The protesting teachers left for Islamabad protest.
