Rising unemployment is one of the most pressing issues for the citizens of Pakistan. Regrettably the government has failed to show any progress in dealing with this paramount problem, which has a negative impact on the country as a whole and not just those who cannot find a job.
Crime, worsening health outcomes and generational poverty are all positively correlated with endemic joblessness. The government needs to find ways of creating more job opportunities as soon as possible.
