UET holds alumni reunion
LAHORE : University of Engineering and Technology (UET) organised an alumni reunion here on Saturday.
UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Habib ur Rahman along with Convener of Programme Committee Prof Dr Naveed Ramzan and focal person Alumni Office Dr Ahmad Naveed formally inaugurated the programme by cutting the ribbon.
A large number of university graduates with their families participated in the programme held at the football ground.
UET Alumni also donated 50 million for the construction and expansion of various departments and laboratories, financial support for students and Zakat Fund. Salman Zafar donated 15 million, Engr. Musaddaq Hussain contributed eight million, UET Alumni Canada chapter donated 5.2 million and many others contributed in Alumni Fund.
During this programme, skits and musical performances were also organised. The participants appreciated the organisers of the event.
