MANSEHRA: All Primary Teachers Alliance on Tuesday demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to notify the upgradation of primary school teachers in the province without any further delay.
“Over 150,000 primary school teachers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been waiting for their upgradation following the approval of the previous government in the province, or else we will hold a protest demonstration in Peshawar,” Attiq Mughal, district president of All Primary Teachers Alliance, told a teachers gathering held here.
He said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government had given the formal approval to the upgradation of primary teachers but the caretaker government was yet to reconsider, and notify it formally.
