Forest dept says sustainable tree harvesting being ensured

ABBOTTABAD: The KP Forest Department has said the harvesting of trees within its jurisdiction is meticulously executed in accordance with the provisions outlined in the work plan document which is a move towards environmental conservation.

This document, rooted in scientific management principles, serves as a robust framework to ensure the sustainable utilization of forest resources, said the officials.

In an effort to uphold ecological integrity and promote sustainable forestry practices, the Forest Department of the Hazara region has recently reaffirmed its commitment to responsible tree harvesting, added the officials.
