LAHORE: A central executive committee meeting of the Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party took place in Lahore, chaired by Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and Party President Abdul Aleem Khan.
During the meeting at the secretariat, all participants unanimously expressed confidence in Party Chairman Jahangir Khan Tareen and Central President Abdul Aleem Khan to engage in dialogue with other political parties.
The committee also decided to continue mutual consultations and election-related matters with various political parties based on local requirements.
The CEC resolved to establish a special board to engage with political parties and decide crucial issues in Sindh, KP, Islamabad, and Balochistan.
Additionally, for each constituency in Punjab, special committees led by divisional presidents were formed to contribute to the evolving situation.
The meeting condemned recent acts of terrorism, and prayed for the martyrs of the Pakistan Army and security agencies.Jahangir Khan Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan, in their statements during the meeting, emphasised their openness to concerns and suggestions from all colleagues.
They highlighted that the Central Executive Committee is the highest forum where decisions will be made through
a consensus, mutual consultation, and inclusiveness.
Participants in the meeting included Ishaq Khan Khakwani, Aamir Kayani, Imran Ismail, Mahmoud Maulvi, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Aoun Chaudhry, Nouman Langriyal, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Munaza Hasan, Shoaib Siddiqui, Rana Nazir Ahmad Khan, Mamoon Jafar Tarar, Rai Aslam Kharal, Dr. Murad Rass, Ayaz Nakai, Abdul Hai Dasti, Sardar Qaiser Magsi, Ameer Haider Singha, Fayyaz ul Hasan Chauhan, Ajmal Cheema, Col (Rtd) Hashim Dogar, Chaudhry Noraiz Shakur, Mian Khalid Mahmood, Malik Salman, Ch. Ikhlaq Hussain, Qasim Khan Langha, Yawar Kamal, Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, Dewan Azmat Saeed, Mian Farrukh Mumtaz Manika, Tahir Handli, and Rana Aslam Khan, who also shared their views on their respective constituencies.
