Architects’ council concludes flood resilient shelter competition
Members of the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) recently visited the Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) to witness the conclusion of the HEC-PCATP Students Design Ideas competition for flood resilient shelters.
PCATP Chairman Arif Changezi along with executive committee member Irfan Memon distributed cheque and certificates among the students of the Department of Architecture and Built Environment (DABE), NHU, at the prize distribution ceremony.
Also present at the ceremony were NHU Chancellor Farhat M Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Bilal Ahmad Alvi, Registrar Afzal Ahmed and HoD Hanee Murtaza.
Earlier, a ceremony was held at the PCATP head office in Islamabad. There PCATP chairman distributed certificates and prize money to the first- and third-place students.
