Shah Faisal Uthmankhel, appearing for the petitioners, told the court that his clients were on bail in the cases registered against them. He said that action was being taken against the PTI leaders at a time when the party started holding political activities.

The counsel for the petitioners said the residences of the PTI leaders were being raided and they did not know how many cases had been registered against them. Justice Ijaz Anwar said that the court had summoned the officials of the Election Commission of Pakistan in connection with the cases.

The court adjourned the hearing until December 12 with the directives for the government not to harass the petitioners. The court ordered the authorities to deal with the PTI leaders in accordance with the law.
