55 properties sealed, five razed
LAHORE: On the direction of Commissioner Lahore and DGLDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, LDA teams conducted a grand operation against the defaulters of the annual commercialization fee here Monday.
The operation was supervised by Operations Director Town Planning Zone One Ayesha Mutahir and was carried out in the localities of Shadman, Samanabad, Shad Bagh, and Canal Road. During the operation, LDA teams sealed 55 properties while five were demolished.
LDA teams demolished Plot No 465 and 729 in Shadman One, an illegal construction on LOS Road, Sumanabad was also demolished while an illegal construction at Harbanspora on Canal Road was stopped.
The properties sealed included private schools, beauty parlors, private offices, clinics, an academy, a biotech lab, a pharmaceutical office, a cloth shop, hostel, a pharmacy, and others. Several notices were issued to the properties sealed and demolished.
