Industrialists apprise governor of problems

PESHAWAR: A delegation of Hayatabad Industrialists Association called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali and apprised him about problems being faced by the business community of the province.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the delegation was led by a prominent businessman, Muhammad Ishaq.Other members of the delegation included Malik Sajjad Gul, Siraj-ud-Din, Adnan Jalil, Muhammad Yousaf Sarwar and Jurjees Ahmad Siddique.

The businessmen discussed with the governor the issues pertaining to the property tax, affixing of tax notices outside factories by the Tehsil Municipal Administration, problems faced by pharmaceutical units and delay in clearance of payments from government departments.

The governor gave a patient hearing to the delegation and issued on the spot directives to get some problems resolved. He assured them of sincere efforts on the part of the government for removal of the hurdles being faced by the business community of the province.
