Caretaker minister’s brother dies after being hit by train
In a tragic incident, a young man, who was also the brother of provincial caretaker minister Mir Khuda Baksh Mari lost his life after being hit by a train in the Steel Town area on Sunday.
According to police, the victim was identified as Hassan Mari, brother of Sindh Caretaker Minister for Mines and Mineral Development Mir Khuda Baksh Mari. Police said the deceased was tending to his livestock with his hands-free device on near the Ghaggar Phatak when he was struck by a train, resulting in instant death.
His body was first taken to a private hospital and then transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Police said the deceased was in the area to see livestock, where some other locals were also present. They added that the case was being investigated from different angles.
