ECP okays appointment of SSWMB’s new MD

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has approved the appointment of a new managing director of the Sindh Solid Waste Management (SSWMB).

According to an ECP notification issued on Saturday, Nasimuddin Mirani will take charge of the solid waste management board. He has replaced former managing director Imtiaz Shah as per the Election Commission’s notification.

The Sindh government had submitted Shah’s removal from his position to the Election Commission. The Sindh High Court had also issued directives for Shah’s removal from his designated role.
