Eleven-year-old shot dead by guard

Karachi

A security guard of a housing society gunned down an 11-year-old boy, near Tipu Sultan road, Bahadurabad, for trying to scare him after wearing a scary mask.

Ali Hassan, son of Shaukat Ali, a house servant employed at one of the houses in the society, was playing with
the mask when he was gunned down by the guard, identified as Ghulam Nabi,
 informed SHO Ferozabad police station Sohail Khan.

The body was shifted to a hospital where he died during treatment. The guard was, however, arrested and the murder weapon seized. Further investigations are underway.

Four dead in mishaps 

Four people, including a minor boy, were died in different mishaps on Sunday.

Two-year-old Fahran, son of Aga Hafeez-ur-Rehman, died after vehicle ran him over in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area, while he was playing outside his home.

Residents of the area caught the diver on the spot and later he was taken into custody by the police and his vehicle was seized.

In another accident, 45-year-old Dilbar died after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle near the Kareemabad furniture market situated in the Azizabad police area.

Crossing a road near in the Gizri police jurisdiction, 55-year-old Rizwan lost his life when a vehicle ran him over near the Bilal Masjid.

Falling off the rooftop of his residence,Muhammad Ameen, 75, died in Orangi Town, while he was feeding his pigeons.
