LAHORE
City District Government Lahore (CDGL) continued its crackdown against price-hike and arrested 92 people for overcharging here Wednesday.
Officials said the drive was started on the directions of DCO Lahore who directed all the price control magistrates to remain active in their respective areas and implement the price lists issued by the CDGL. They said a total 910 raids were conducted across the city and price control magistrates arrested 92 people out of which 33 were sent to jail by the magistrates after hearing them on the spot.
