Tight security around educational institutes ordered

JHANG: DPO Humayun Masood has directed the officers concerned to ensure foolproof security around and inside of all schools and colleges.
He said this while chairing a meeting of senior police officers at the DPO Office here on Saturday. The meeting was held to review security arrangements and law and order situation in the district. Addressing the meeting, the DPO directed the DSP traffic to remain present on roads especially during schools and colleges closing hours for ensuring smooth flow of traffic. He directed him to remove illegal roadsides parking of all vehicles. DPO Humayun Masood directed the police officers to extend their supervisory role regarding affective patrolling of cops. He said that innocent citizens should not be disturbed while checking by the police. He said that monitoring of security arrangements should be ensured on daily basis and no negligence or laxity would be tolerated in this regard. He directed that cops having guns should not be allowed talking on mobile phones by keeping their loaded guns aside. He directed the DSPs and SHOs to personally check security arrangements and patrolling of Mujahid force and Rescue 15 cops. The DPO asked the IOs to complete challans of cases strictly on merit and on time.
