Two hurt in KU clash
Karachi
At least two students of the University of Karachi were reported to have been injured in a clash, on Friday, which occurred between groups of students belonging to separate political organizations.
The students affiliated with the Peoples Students Federation (PSF) and the Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) started the brawl allegedly over a petty issue while they were playing football.
One of the injured was identified as Shahid, of the economics department, while the other was identified as Shahzad Ahmed.
Rangers’ officials were said to have intervened and detained around five of the students involved in the clash. However, a senior official of the varsity on requesting anonymity claimed that both the student groups had reached a compromise.
