The Avengers: Endgame fever that has enveloped the globe subsequent to its trailer release seems to have affected Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as well as she hopes for an Indian superhero to soon join the crusaders and wouldn't mind being the chosen one.
The Padmaavat starlet talking to the press at the launch of her Madame Tussaud’s wax figure revealed that she would be greatly interested in stepping into the role of a superhero and being part of Marvel’s Avengers franchise.
“Yeah, of course. Why not? I mean I’d say Indian origin. So whether it’s Marvel or whether it’s Avengers, or you know, any of these iconic characters that we’ve seen in cinema, I think it would be very interesting."
“And I think the world is ready for it to see one of these superheroes, one that originates from India. I believe it will happen soon. I know it will," she added further.
