A man has been taken into custody after breaking into the apartment of singer Taylor swift’s apartment in New York City.
As per reports by the New York City Police Department (NYPD), they had acted in response to a housebreak report at 12:30 pm where they arrested a 22 year old man identified as Rodger Alvarado from Florida.
“He is charged with stalking in the 1st, burglary, criminal mischief in the 3rd and criminal trespassing in the 3rd,” read the official statement by the NYPD.
According to inside sources from the NYPD, the man had broken into the 28 year old singer’s apartment after which he took a shower and fell asleep on Swift’s bed.
The singer had not been present in the city at the time of the incident, as was evident in the Instagram post she made thanking fans for listening to her new song ‘Babe’ that also features Sugarland.
