Members want humanitarian organisation to expand intervention area
PESHAWAR: Members of the non-governmental humanitarian organisation, Association for Community Development (ACD), have suggested to the management to expand the area of interventions.
The suggestion was made at the annual general meeting of the Board of Governors and members of the ACD, said a press release. One of the objectives of the meeting was to review the performance of the association during the previous year. The members appreciated performance of the management and field teams of the organisation.
They proposed non-formal education as another area that the management could consider for future interventions. The board members called for increasing and diversifying membership of the association. The association is trying to reach the target communities not only through the established health facilities, but also the outreach activities.
