PESHAWAR: Adhoc Lecturers Association on Thursday called off their protest after getting assurance from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government that their services would be regularised shortly.
Addressing a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Afsar Khan, the president of the association, said that they had set up a protest camp outside the Peshawar Press Club and boycotted the classes for the last nine days. “Chief Minister Pervez Khattak visited the camp the other day and assured us that our problems would be solved,” he added.
